Back in Action!!!

ALRIGHT, so (admittedly) I haven't been working up to my potential because I learned most of these things in high school, but I'm turning it around because this is what I love to do!! I remember that now and it's gametime!!

So, here are some snapshots mapping the progress of a scene I'm making of an old European town/alleyway:

This is a ground view of the alleyway and the buildings surrounding it...

Here are a couple of top views showing everything in the current scene...

The first step to making a realistic alleyway/road is extruding faces downward and adding geometry so that the shapes aren't extremely hard. Adding geometry gives a smoother look...

Here is a manhole that I created by taking vertex points and moving them inward and placing them in places that were somewhat circular...

Most curbs have drains or gutters at some point. Here's the one I made. All I really had to do was more some vertex points around...

I made a few minor changes to the curb so that it would look more realistic. If you look closely at the left curb, you'll see some simple imperfections like dents or uneven edges. This was made possible by (again) manipulating vertex points in, out, up, & down...

Here We Go...

Here's a basic part of the frame of the bike that I'm working on! There's been some snags along the way, but it'll be done in no time!!!
